Product Overview

This blue PVC cloth seaming tape is a single sided tape developed for the closing step of battery pack assembly: sealing the outer edges and seams of the pack after the insulation film, mylar sheet or PVC sleeve has been wrapped. The carrier is a double thread woven cloth laminated with a PVC film surface, at a total thickness of 180um, so the tape gives a clean printed panel on the outside and mechanical strength underneath.

Supplied in 50 metre rolls and slit to any width from 10mm to 1040mm, the blue colour also works as a visual identification mark, helping operators and inspectors confirm at a glance that a pack has passed the sealing station.

• Waterproof PVC surface: the laminated PVC film forms a continuous moisture barrier over the seam, keeping humidity out of the pack edge in damp workshop and storage conditions.
• Double thread woven backing: warp and weft are both woven with double thread, giving the cloth a dense, stable structure that resists edge fraying when torn by hand.
• Strong load bearing: the 180um thickened construction carries tension along the seam and holds wrapped film in place without stretching out of shape.
• High tack adhesion: 12-18 N/25mm peel adhesion grips PVC film, aluminium shell, PET and painted surfaces firmly on contact, with no waiting time before the next station.
• Temperature tolerance: performs from -10 C to 80 C, covering workshop heat, transport conditions and normal pack operating temperature.
• Colour coded identification: the blue face marks sealed packs clearly, supporting visual management and QC traceability on the line.
