Product Overview

The Black Acrylic PE Foam Double Sided Tape is a closed-cell polyethylene foam tape coated on both sides with a high tack solvent acrylic adhesive, developed as a dedicated bonding solution for BMS protection board assembly inside lithium battery packs. The black PE foam carrier absorbs dimensional tolerance between the protection board and the pack structure, while the acrylic adhesive system delivers immediate handling strength and long term shear resistance.

Supplied in 5 metre rolls with a standard 76mm paper core, the tape can be slit to any width from 5mm to 1040mm and die cut to your board outline. It is the practical replacement for screw fixing and liquid glue in PACK workshops where reworkability and a clean surface after removal matter as much as initial adhesion.

• High initial tack: 18-25 N/25mm peel adhesion on stainless steel, allowing immediate handling of the protection board without clamping or curing time.
• Clean peel and reworkable: the adhesive releases with low residue, so a protection board can be lifted, repositioned or replaced during assembly and after-sales repair without scraping the PCB or the aluminium shell.
• Tolerance compensation: closed cell PE foam compresses under pressure and recovers, filling gaps on uneven pack surfaces and reducing stress concentration on solder joints.
• Durable holding power: no creep under more than 24 hours at 1kg/25mm load, suitable for vertical and inverted installation inside the pack.
• Weather and ageing resistance: acrylic adhesive resists UV, humidity, plasticizer migration and thermal cycling from -20 C to 100 C long term, 130 C short term.
• Fully customisable: thickness 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and any slit width, with optional die cut shapes on request.
